Else Argutinsky-Dolgorukow
Ink drawing, by Else Argutinsky-Dolgorukow, which depicts women working within the Theresienstadt concentration camp. This is one of a portfolio of thirteen drawings by Argutinsky-Dolgorukow, all of which were done in Theresienstadt between 1943 and 1944. Argutinsky-Dolgorukow survived her imprisonment in the camp partly because she worked in the camp's technical drawing department. LBI Art & Objects Collection, 2023.121a-m

2023.125a Zalman Unreich On medal
Wrestling medal (likely from the late 1920s) with blue and white enamel decorations and an eagle motif. The medal was one of several wrestling medals that belonged to Zalman Unreich On, a Czech Jewish wrestler who would later become an undercover Israeli spy. LBI Art & Objects Collection, 2023.125a. Ursula Fels bust
Bust of Ursula Fels as a child, done in white marble by the artist Harald Isenstein, in 1915. After Ursula grew up, she emigrated in 1936 from Berlin to Johannesburg, South Africa. The artist Harald Isenstein was best known for his sculptural bust of Albert Einstein in front of the Einstein Tower in Potsdam. LBI Art & Objects Collection, 2022.05

Etrog container
Silver etrog container created by the medallist Felix Horowitz in 1910. The container was dedicated to Dr. Adolf Kober, who served as a rabbi in Wiesbaden from 1908 to 1918 and was chief rabbi in Cologne from 1918 to 1939. LBI Art & Objects Collection, 2022.55. Portrait of Abraham Wormser
Portrait of Abraham Wormser, done by an unknown artist around 1850. Abraham Wormser was born in 1785 in Aldingen, in the state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Abraham married Gutele Hayum in 1811, and they had seven children. Abraham died in 1860. LBI Art & Objects Collection, 2022.59. This portrait and an accompanying portrait of his wife Gutele were part of the Wormser family collection, AR 26007.
Dreimäderlhaus by Emil Ranzenhofer
Etching by the Viennese Jewish artist Emil Ranzenhofer, done in the early 20th century. The print is entitled Dreimäderlhaus and depicts a courtyard of a large building with a little dog sitting inside. LBI Art & Objects Collection, 2023.60
