Tracey Felder began working at the Leo Baeck Institute in 2007. She has been the primary cataloger for rare and special collections since 2009, for which she received advanced training from the Rare Book School in Washington, D.C. Since 2011 she has also been the primary cataloger for periodicals and has helped to catalog and prepare many of the historical periodicals digitized through LBI’s Periodicals Digitization Project. Additionally, she has participated in many special cataloging projects, such as a project funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities and the German Research Foundation to digitally recreate the Freimann Collection at the Frankfurt University Library. Tracey spent two years studying German at the University of Munich. She has also studied French, Yiddish, and Hebrew.
