Henry G. Koppell founded Arco Publishing Co. in New York after 1942. He was also involved in the establishment of the Alliance Book Corp. and Enoch Publishing Co. Arco specialized in pocket-sized books.
Koppell had been active in the publishing industry in Berlin during the 1920s and early 1930s. He emigrated from Germany to Palestine and then to the United States in 1936.
