Help preserve German-Jewish memory
Leo Baeck Institute – New York | Berlin is an independent organization not affiliated with any university or religious group. We depend on the support of private donors, foundations, corporations, and government grants to maintain the library and archives, preserve fragile documents, and develop engaging programming. Most vitally, your support allows us to continue to process, catalog, and digitize new collections that will preserve the legacy of German-speaking Jewry for future generations. Even as the survivor generation dwindles, our collections continue to grow. They are more vital than ever to teach future generations not just about Nazi persecution and the Holocaust, but also about the lives and achievements of Jewish people in German-speaking lands in the centuries before.
