Ladislaus Szücs founded the Cineton Verlag GmbH in Vienna in 1936. After the Anschluss, the publishing house was "aryanized." Szücs subsequently fled to the United States via France.
Szücs had been active in film music publishing in Berlin before the Machtergreifung, after which he had fled to Austria.
