Lipa Bronstein founded Kedem Bookstore in Tel Aviv in 1938. Kedem included a small publishing house specializing in books on the history of Palestine and Zionism. Bronstein named his business after the bookstore Kedem Blumstein & Bronstein in Berlin, where he had worked before his emigration.
