Biographical/Historical Information
The lawyer Julius Brodnitz was president of 'Central-Verein Deutscher Staatsbürger jüdischen Glaubens' from 1920 until his death in 1936.
The photographer Herbert Sonnenfeld was born in Berlin in 1906, and after a short visit to Palestine, he excelled in documenting Jewish life in Berlin during the Nazi era. In 1939, he immigrated to New York, where he died in 1972.
