Biographical/Historical Information
The philosopher and philologist Lazarus Geiger was born in Frankfurt/M. in 1829. Working as a teacher at the Jewish school ‘Philanthropin’, he published works on the development of human language. Lazarus Geiger died in Frankfurt in 1870.
