Biographical/Historical Information
Rabbi Marcus Lehmann, born in Hanover in 1831, was one of the most influential orthodox rabbis of his time, particularly throughout his tenure as rabbi and preacher for the orthodox Jewish “Religionsgesellschaft” in Mainz. Rabbi Marcus Lehmann died in Mainz in 1890.
