Benzion Mossinsohn was a Zionist leader and Hebrew educator in Jerusalem.
Chaim Weizmann was a Russian-born biochemist, Zionist leader, and president of the Zionist Organization. In 1949 he became the first president of Israel.
Abraham Menahem Mendel Ussishkin was a Russian-born Zionist leader and head of the Jewish National Fund.
