Biographical/Historical Information

Albert Einstein's sister, Maria "Maja" Einstein was born on November 18, 1881 in Munich. She studied romance languages and literature. Maja emigrated to the United States in 1939, ultimately settling in Princeton, where she died on June 25, 1951.
