Biographical/Historical Information

The synagogue in Pestalozzi-Str. In Berlin was built in 1913. It was damaged but not destroyed during Kristallnacht and re-consecrated in 1947.

Arthur Biberfeld was a German architect, best known for his work on theaters and the old Komische Oper. He studied under Hermann Ende and Otto Schmalz at the Technische Hochschule in Charlottenburg, Berlin.
