    Julius Ofner

Julius Ofner (1845-1924) was a jurist and politician. A member of the Austrian parliament from 1901 to 1918 representing the Social Political Party, Ofner was also a cofounder of the Fabier Society. Its aim was to establish a socialist society by means of social reforms. Ofner became a respected legislator defining the right to a workplace as a human right and advocating for the right of women to work.
